Benard Bennett passed away peacefully on Wednesday in My Town, USA at 6:00 p.m. with his wife Alice (O'Grady) Bennett at his side. They were married on May 8, 1965, and shared 54 years of marriage together.
He was born in My Town, USA on Sept 15, 1945 and was the son of John and Mary Anne Bennett. He attended My Town High School and graduated in 1963. Benard was employed at My Town Bank for 40 years and retired in 2004. He was a member of My Town Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his beloved wife Alice; children: Jerry (Cynthia) Bennett; Gladys Bennett; Paul (Cathy) Bennett; Grandchildren: Kerry (David) Moore; Janice (Billy) Jackson; and Great grandchildren: Alex Moore, Elizabeth, Kyle, and William Jackson. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Maria.
Visitation with the family will be on Saturday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow at 12 p.m. in the chapel with interment immediately following.
