Jack Wilson, Artist and Jackson native drove to Sweetwater Tuesday morning to paint a scene off of the town square.
Wilson drove up the Trace Parkway in the hopes of finding somewhere to paint and ended up in Sweetwater.
“I chose this place because I liked the rugged buildings and I enjoy painting looking into the sun because of the highlights that it provides,” Wilson said.
Wilson has been painting for 10 years and at one point took a workshop from Nicki Waffle of Victorville.
His works are available for sale at the Fondren Art Gallery in Louisville.
